Tuhr’s Biography

Tuhr is a Project Manager at WomenatthecentrE. Her work is grounded in the understanding that gender-based violence (GBV) is a pervasive and systemic issue, and in a commitment to advancing safety, dignity, and collective care for survivors. Rooted in feminist and survivor-led approaches, Tuhr is dedicated to supporting communities in building more just and responsive systems of care. As an active lifelong member and volunteer within her own community, she brings a relational lens to her work and remains committed to contributing towards sustainable, community-based change.

Tuhr holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, where she deepened her commitment to anti-oppressive and survivor-led approaches to supporting those impacted by gender-based violence. She is a registered social worker, grounding her work in ethical and community-centered practice.
