Maya’s Biography

Maya is a Survivor of Domestic Sex Trafficking and other forms of Gender-Based Violence. She uses her lived experience to provide peer support and engage with others. Maya is a recent graduate of Centennial College with High Honours in the Addictions and Mental Health Worker Program. She utilizes her past experiences as a Service User when working with Survivors and other Service Providers.

Maya is dedicated to raising awareness for Human Trafficking and creating change to better support Survivors.
