Objectives
The Beyond Surviving: Capacity to grow, sustain, and dream initiative will build the strong foundation required for our organization, WomenatthecentrE, to work towards gender equity sustainably.
This includes improving our team's functionality; our survivor capacity to lead in this sector, and manage and support teams; our capacity to plan, apply for, administer, manage, evaluate, and report on projects; our capacity to collaborate, connect, and work as a collective involved in decision making; and our capacity to engage in trauma and violence informed community-based participatory research (CBPR), measuring and understanding impact. The successful administration the project will improve our capacity to achieve our mandate, adapt to sector change, administer projects with national scope and
impact, and sustain our work beyond project timelines.

Human Relations Coordinator
This project focuses on three areas of internal capacity development: to grow, sustain, and dream. Growth will be reflected in the development of Human Relation Gender-Based Analysis+ - informed policies, practices and processes, a Survivor-Led Research Manual and associated team trainings, including OCAP training access, project management trainings, and curated individualized training plans.
These activities will strengthen internal team capacity, support, and culture, and strengthen research and evaluation and project management practices, knowledge, and tools.
Sustaining will be reflected in the development of an organizational sustainability plan and the development and piloting of grant-writing guidelines. These activities will provide a sustainability plan for
implementation and strengthen our team's grant writing capacity and collective voice.
Dreaming will be reflected in the development of an organizational roadmap to define our voice, vision, and strategic plan for the next three years, and a 2-day in-person team engagement event, to build culture, connection, and knowledge share. These activities will strengthen organizational culture and
provide strategic organizational direction.
The successful administration of all project activities will improve our capacity to achieve our mandate, adapt to sector change, administer projects with national scope and impact, and sustain our work beyond project timelines.
