Therapeutical Approach
My approach is collaborative and grounded in deep respect for each client’s lived experience. I do not pathologize survivors—instead, I honour their strength, survival strategies, and capacity for change. I draw on:
- Narrative Therapy to help re-author personal stories from a position of agency
- Brainspotting and Polyvagal-informed somatic therapies to support trauma processing and nervous system regulation
- Attachment-based and trauma-focused modalities to restore trust, connection, and a sense of internal safety
- Safe & Sound Protocol to support sensory integration, especially after chronic trauma
Therapy is always paced and co-created based on your needs, goals, and boundaries.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a strong commitment to supporting women and gender-diverse individuals impacted by intimate partner violence (IPV), coercive control, and gender-based trauma.
My practice centers the voices, dignity, and recovery of survivors—those navigating the complex emotional, psychological, and somatic impacts of abuse.
With over 18 years of experience in mental health, community services, and psychotherapy, I offer a trauma-informed, relational, and anti-oppressive space where clients can begin to feel safe, heard, and empowered.
I work with individuals who may be in the early stages of leaving, rebuilding after separation, or healing from years of harm—including experiences of pre- and post-separation abuse, often compounded by systemic barriers and institutional betrayal.
