Survey - Your Experience with Halton Police

WomenatthecentrE’s Halton Chapter is spearheading research on policing and responses to violence against women. We are asking women survivors to tell us about their experiences when they interacted with police in the region. The information gathered will be analysed to find ways to enhance the quality of service provided to abused women and children. The results will then be shared, to ensure that law enforcement officers are responding effectively and with sensitivity to abused women, and at the same time holding abusers accountable for their actions.

We want you to know that we appreciate your time and willingness to participate in this initiative as the information you provide will help make things better for other women who are trying to flee abuse. Thank you for stepping up, speaking up and speaking out.

Please note that this survey does not require you to disclose any information that can be used to identify you, and that all information gathered will be held in strictest confidence by WomenatthecentrE.

This survey is anonymous.
The record kept of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you unless a specific question in the survey has asked for this. If you have responded to a survey that used an identifying token to allow you to access the survey, you can rest assured that the identifying token is not kept with your responses. It is managed in a separate database, and will only be updated to indicate that you have (or haven't) completed this survey. There is no way of matching identification tokens with survey responses in this survey.
